Edattummal

Edattummal is recorded as a separate ward locality in the State Election Commission’s Trikaripur list. Its identity is that of a named neighbourhood within a larger panchayat rather than a stand-alone town. The settlements around Trikaripur are locally distinguished through names such as Koyonkara, Chovvery and Edattummal, even though their everyday road networks connect them. The wider region has a documented history of libraries and traditional cultural activity, as described by the panchayat. For a resident or visitor, Edattummal is a useful address-level identifier. The precise destination should be checked against its complete postal address because ward boundaries are not the same as postal boundaries.
